Architect and urban planner with a Master's degree from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the University of São Paulo. In 2000, he founded the firm METRO ARQUITETOS ASSOCIADOS, where he has developed projects, such as the Pietro Maria Bardi Building - an expansion of MASP, the Ladeira da Barroquinha in Salvador, and the new Fundamental Sciences building of the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA) in São José dos Campos. Since 1994, he has collaborated frequently with architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha (Pritzker Prize in 2006), with whom he has completed several large-scale projects, such as the Cais das Artes - Museum and Theater in Vitória, Espírito Santo. Between 2008 and 2009, he worked at the firm Foster+Partners in London.
